Year 3 had a wonderful afternoon celebrating our Firt Holy Communion, Father Damien came to present us with our certificates, then we danced and sung our socks off, and played some games, what an afternoon!!🕺💃

Congratulations to our Mr Hyde who has been selected to be a ‘Teaching for Mastery’ specialist. This means that St Joseph’s will become a beacon school for Teaching for Mastery in maths 🙌🏻🙌🏻

This morning we enjoyed a live stream for #NationalNumeracyDay , the children learnt the importance of counting in dance and more importantly how numbers are used in SPACE!

Thank you to all the parents who came to Year 4's SEL morning. We had a great turn out and it was lovely to hear the children's great suggestions for how to control and manage their behaviours.

Milo in 3RH brought in some very special Rosary beads that he had been gifted for his First Holy Communion, they were very special because they had been blessed by Pope Francis! ✝️

1JG have really enjoyed a quiet reflection in the newly replanted prayer garden this morning. It was so lovely to spend some time in nature with God.

2BM did some incredible drawings of the mills in Reddish. We used different types of pencils and techniques to create light and dark tones!

Year 5 discussed and developed their awareness of having a climate ready school ground today.

1JG have really enjoyed getting outdoors this afternoon for our Science lesson! We investigated the different habitats around the school grounds and found lots of minibeasts! It got us thinking about how we can enhance their habitats further 🐜🐌🪱 #outdoorclassroomday
