No 149 - Rob Jones. Towering central defender Jones signed permanently for in May 2011 after a short loan from Scunthorpe. He played 45 games and scored 5 goals and was club captain in our 2012 promotion season. He was allowed to join Doncaster on a free after 1 season

No 148 - Steve Harkness. Signed for for £200k from Blackburn in Sept 2000 at the twilight of his career. The defender scored one goal in 32 games before being released in Nov 2002. He had previously played for Liverpool, Huddersfield, Southend, Carlisle and Benfica

No 145 - Klas Ingesson. 57 cap Swedish international midfielder Ingesson signed for £800k from Bari in 1994. He only played 21 games, scoring twice before joining PSV Eindhoven. The ex-Lecce, Marseille, Bologna, Mechelen and IFK Goteburg man sadly passed away in 2014.

No 142 - Akpo Sodje. The striker was signed from Port Vale Aug 07. Able to put in some strong displays when fit he sadly was beset by injuries and played just 44 games, scoring 9 before release in 2010. He finished his career on loan at Macclesfield from Tranmere in 2014

No 141 - Callum Mcmanaman. callum mcmanaman played 12 games on loan at from West Brom in 2017 to assist in our play off push. The winger barely started a game under Carlos. Beginning his career at Wigan he also represented Blackpool, Sunderland and Luton in England.

No 140 - Mick Prendergast. The Mexborough born striker made his debut in 1969 and went on to score 53 in 183 league games for the owls. Sadly he struggled with injuries and was transferred to Barnsley in 1978, but lasted just 1 season. He sadly died in 2010 aged just 59.

No 827 - Tom Soares. Midfielder who began his career with Crystal Palace. After a £1.25M move to Stoke he went out on loan to Charlton then 2009/10. He scored twice for us in 25 games. He later played for Hibernian, Bury, AFC Wimbledon and Stevenage.

No 24. Ron Atkinson. A highly experienced manager who took charge of over two spells. First from 1989-91 where he won promotion and the League Cup in 1991 and secondly in 1997/98 where he kept us in the premier league. Big Ron remains popular to this day.
