Major Pete Costas was promoted to glory over the weekend. With 40 years of service in The Salvation Army, Major Costas has touched many lives during his two terms at the Charlotte Temple, and throughout North and South Carolina. His impact will be felt for generations to come.

The Salvation Army had the opportunity to participate in Synchrony's #BlackHistoryMonth community panel this week, where impactful organizations shared about the needs facing our youth. Synchrony team members also collected more than 100 books for Boys & Girls Clubs of CLT.
