A 24 hour speed enforcement operation takes place from 7am Friday, 19th April until 7am tomorrow.

Our Roads Policing Unit in Tipperary were checking for speed around Birdhill when they detected this young fella travelling 89km/h in a 50km zone.

An unaccompanied learner with no L-plates displayed and he failed a roadside drug test.
