The rule is, the monarch calls on the person who commans a majority in the Commons.

But there is no Commons. There are no MPs.

I think there is a problem with Sunak trying to look hard: he doesn't look hard.

At the last election I made what I thought was a large donation to candidate to be my local MP. It generated no acknowledgment at all. However, said candidate has magically appeared in my email inbox now, suggesting that it is time to get a-donating again.
