Engaged in friendly and constructive dialogue with EUinthePhilippines🇪🇺🇵🇭 and EU Member States this morning, to sustain positive momentum in our relations. We reaffirmed the importance of upholding a rules-based international order anchored on international law including the 1982 UNCLOS.

Glad to welcome Gabrielius Landsbergis🇱🇹 in Manila. We discussed deepening PH and LT relationship, and regional & international issues of mutual concern. 🇵🇭 and 🇱🇹 are like-minded partners that support the preservation of the rules-based international order.

Proud to have welcomed Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez to the DFA for the second iteration of the Foreign Policy Address series, where he spoke on new initiatives to grow business in the PH. We also had meaningful discussions on foreign policy issues and activities.

I hosted the heads of mission of OIC member countries to an informal & friendly lunch today, where I assured them of PH's sincere interest to enhance bilateral and multilateral cooperation. I also affirmed PH's unwavering commitment to peace, esp in these challenging times.

2/2 We also engaged in frank & candid conversation on regional and international developments that impact on both our countries, reaffirming our shared belief in the importance of upholding the principles of peace, stability, and the rule of law, both regionally and globally.

1/2 Honored to welcome and meet with SG Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan in Manila. 🇵🇭-🇸🇬relations have been robust & dynamic for the past 55 years, and we resolved to leverage enhanced ties to forge mutually beneficial outcomes, especially on the economic front.

The Philippines continues to work with our friends and partners, including through the UN system, to address the situation in the Red Sea involving 17 Filipino seafarers. We assure their families that all is being done so that the seafarers will finally be able to return home

Had a good meeting w/ Indian External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar (Modi Ka Parivar) on bolstering 🇵🇭🇮🇳 cooperation to promote the rule of law, maritime safety,trade & tourism. We discussed intl devts & pledged greater collaboration in multilateral fora such as UN,NAM& ASEAN #PHIndia75 DFA Philippines 🇵🇭
