I’ve seen firsthand the devastating impacts that overturning Roe v. Wade has had on women in my home state of Wisconsin. It’s time to stop treating women like they’re second-class citizens and restore their right to control their bodies, families, and futures.

This month we honor the rich history and great contributions of our Asian American, Native Hawaiian, & Pacific Islander communities. I’m proud to stand with the #AANHPI Wisconsinites who have made our state and country stronger!

I am closely monitoring the situation in Mount Horeb. My thoughts are with the kids, teachers, parents, first responders, and community members who are shaken by the threat of violence at their school. We cannot accept this as our new norm.

No parent should have to lose a child to fentanyl poisoning or a drug overdose. Sadly, too many Wisconsin parents know the feeling.

Last week, we took a critical step forward in tackling this crisis and saving lives by signing my bipartisan FEND Off Fentanyl Act into law.

My Women’s Health Protection Act will restore Roe v. Wade and protect every American’s freedom to decide what is right for their body and future. We can’t afford to wait any longer to pass it. Senator Patty Murray and I aren’t taking our foot off the gas until we get that freedom back.

I’m calling on the federal government to step up and help our dairy farmers and producers combat this outbreak so we can stop the spread of this virus and keep consumers safe.

Shipbuilders like the ones in Green Bay are second-to-none but China’s unfair trade practices are undercutting their hard work & it’s costing us good-paying jobs. That’s why I’m working alongside United Steelworkers #EverybodysUnion to hold China accountable & protect American workers.

I’ve heard from mothers who lost children, cops on the front lines, and advocates — all demanding we do more to end the fentanyl crisis. Yesterday, we passed our bipartisan bill to crack down on chemical suppliers in China and cartels in Mexico that are fueling this epidemic.

I’m happy to see new historical markers commemorating the Wisconsinites who came before us and fought back against discriminatory housing laws.
