The Gov't of Japan provides 13 medically equipped ambulances to 8 hospitals in Kabul and Kandahar through UNOPS. Today Amb. Kuromiya attended the workshop for the ambulance drivers and expressed his hope that these ambulances will be fully utilized to save as many people as possible.

بمنظور ابراز تسلیت و غم شریکی بخاطر حمله در شهر کرمان ایران به وقوع پیوست و با تأسف که در اثر آن ۹۵ تن شهید و ۲۱۱ تن دیگر مجروح گردیدند،به سفارت آنکشور در توکیو حضور به هم رساندم. ضمن درج پیام تسلیت و همدردی در کتاب تعزیت با سفیر آنکشور حین ملاقات این عمل تروریستی را تقبیح نمودم.

I visited Embassy of Kuwait in Tokyo and expressed condolences to HE Amb Sami Al-Zamanan on the passing away of the Amir of Kuwait, His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jabar Al Sabah. I conveyed that Afghans stand in solidarity with the people of Kuwait at this moment of grief!
