This week is #AutismAcceptanceWeek . Did you know we’ve introduced autism awareness cards to the RUH? They’ve been created in response to patient feedback to provide autistic people with a different way to alert our staff of their autism diagnosis so adjustments can be made. 🥰

It surprises me that in 2024 I am still called out for advising that people do not eat meat on the basis that plant-proteins are of “poor quality”. This concept of protein quality needs to be flipped on its head!

I am incandescent with rage that a Black woman stood up to be heard 46 times and was ignored. She stood up to speak 46 times. FORTY SIX TIMES. When you’re told to try harder as a woman, when you think you just need to work a little bit harder, remember this. Forty six times.

To all who’ve ‘handled it’ in what ever way worked for you & if you’re still trying to handle it don’t give up- you’ve got this! Many women portray a strong woman to the world, these same women will be experiencing this too! Always take the time to see behind the mask! #IWD2024
