As per usual trying to get a flu jab is made as difficult as possible. GP surgery have said no, local pharmacy’s not doing it. So I’d have to get an Uber to next town to a church that’s doing them. Everything is so long when you don’t have a car and live in the burbs

I guess we all think about that time in our lives when the roles start to reverse and you start to become more of the caregiver - you think by then you’ll feel like a proper grown up and completely prepared, but it absolutely sneaks up on you!

Lots of people will be re-experiencing at the moment - flashback and/or nightmares. Then there’s the numbness and/or heightened emotions. Add in observing once again that so many people just don’t understand the realities of SA in terms of it’s impact route to justice. Be kind
