Today we celebrate Retro Day with a photo of my old high school friend Dirk Howell and me at an outdoor show in Athens, Ga. when we were students at the University Of Georgia in 1974. We went by “Dirk And Tony” and entertained all the kids back then.

We had a blast visiting with our dear friends Bill Cody, Kelly Sutton and Charlie Mattos on the WSM Radio morning show, “Coffee, Country and Cody”. They have been a champion for us for many years, many years.

Moe Bandy has been a hero of mine since the ‘70’s when I first heard him. I wore out all of his albums. Now, these many years later, we do shows together, we break bread together and he is one of my best buddies. Dream’s do come true! Today is his birthday, how him some love.

Been knowing ol’ Tritt since he was knee high. He continues to throw down like a Georgia boy should and, since today is his birthday, I’m sure he’ll be having a party tonight! Have a fun time, pal!
