For some reason some people believe all autistics are exactly the same despite things like age, gender, culture, upbringing, personality, etc.
If you've met one autistic person you've met one autistic person.

Whatever you call your autism radar it seems to be something many autistics have. I, for one, am grateful for it.

Whether I mask or not I'm still going to get people angry at me. Not only neurotypicals but a few autistics as well, which honestly confuses me.

Happy Mother's Day to the best mom I could have ever asked for.
My mom was my first advocate. She taught me the importance of mental health and that being neurodivergent is nothing to be ashamed of.
I can't thank her enough. I love you mom.

Autism awareness is only the first step, and acceptance can't be where we stop. Autism isn't something to pity. It's something to appreciate!
We are autistic! We are awesome!

We autistics don't mask to fit in. We mask to protect ourselves.

Every person in the autistic community has their preference. I prefer being called autistic because it's a part of me. A part of me that I love. A part of me I never want to lose.

Things like depression, anxiety, and a whole host of other things can really mess with a person's memory.

Why is insincere modesty and fake generosity polite? If you turn something down don't get upset when someone else takes it.

I've spent my life having people misspell my name and it drives me up the wall! This why I do my utmost to make sure I never misspell anyone else's name so I don't make them suffer like I have suffered!

I've met people who seem genuinely confused as to why other people don't act exactly like them. It's like they can't grasp the fact that they aren't the default.

I grew up in the 90s where I constantly was told to 'Be Weird!' Apparently I was supposed to be neurotypical weird, not autistic weird.
