The National Wallace Monument, built to commemorate Scottish patriot and martyr Sir William Wallace, stands out as one of the most distinctive landmarks on the Stirling skyline 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿. IG/theworldofvincent #VisitScotland

⚠️ The shuttle bus service will not operate on Friday 26th April 2024. Visitors will need to follow the pathway from the Car Park to reach the Monument.

The route takes around 15-20 minutes to reach the tower. The pathway is steep and uneven some areas.

You can hear about his mark on the Kingdom of the Scots & the earliest recorded history of Stirling Castle at a talk today in the King's Old Building at 11.30am!
