Red Cross volunteers, Philadelphia OEM and our community partners continue to support those who were displaced by Sunday's fire on the 4900 block of Spruce St in Philadelphia. 27 people spent last night at our West Philadelphia High School shelter. The shelter remains open today.

We had a blast at the 2nd Annual City of Philadelphia Parent & Youth Resource Fair! Special thanks to the community-based providers who helped us make this event possible and all the #Philly families who joined us!

Today we took the time to honor the dedicated police officers and firefighters who have lost their lives in the line of duty, including Sergeant Richard Carrero Mendez. Their sacrifice strengthens my resolve to do everything in my power to make us a safer city.
