These sequence of days for the past 7 days has been absolutely insane in terms of tornadoes. Extended Outbreak Criteria?

Incredible job to all chasers today especially Freddy McKinney who is a true hero in this community right now. Saving lives and automatically going into S&R mode.

Guys I’m okay I took a family to the hospital. Thank god they survived that tornado their house was absolutely leveled.

This was NOT on my Bingo card today, but my gut feeling was as soon as the merger/ofb collision happened the Anson storm was about to produce a crazy tornado. Reminded me of Morton’s storm evolution.

Oklahoma with the biggest troll storm of the year. Some spectacular images of the storm and tornadoes west of the Wichita Mountains.

Recent g-r and s-r winds discussion reminds me about how frictional vort is produced by the g-r winds. Environmental frictional vort near sfc depends on where the hodo lies on the axes (Figs1,2). But the g-r outflow winds also produce frictional vort (Fig3), unknown a priori.

This is what happens when spotter network makes Spotter Network widely open to the public with abilities to make reporting without any regulation.
