Response team officers in #Walsall spotted this cloned vehicle in the town centre and stopped it. #ANPRInterceptors came to assist and conducted a vehicle examination and discovered its true identity. Turns out it was a stolen vehicle from Birmingham!

The driver of this Mercedes in #Westbromwich sneakily tried to get his partner to insure him online after being stopped. That’s not how that works… and we weren’t born yesterday 🤦 he already has 9 points so will likely be banned on conviction.

A relay theft is where thieves boost the signal from an ignition key inside your house to steal the car parked nearby. If you have a keyless entry vehicle please consider adding extra security such as faraday bags for the keys (BOTH SETS) & steering locks etc.

Whilst on patrol in #Netherton around 3am officers saw this Mercedes and something didn’t look quite right so they turned around and the driver immediately failed to stop. Turned out it had just been stolen via keyless theft and the owner was unaware. #ANPRInterceptors

We’ve been conducting off-road reassurance patrols alongside @rowleywmp today as part of #OpAdvance in response to reports of nuisance bikers. We also received some very postive feedback from members of the public we saw along the way. 🏍️ 🏍️

This stolen Golf was spotted in #Walsall by response team Sgt who coordinated #ANPRInterceptors in to take over the follow of the vehicle.
