UNICEF signed a memorandum of understanding with the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine. Six hundred children joined the Lviv School Social Enterprise Forum, where they are learning entrepreneurship by leading social enterprises. UNICEF and Bundesentwicklungsministerium through KfW Development Bank support this initiative to equip young people in Ukraine with new skills.

Child-centered justice systems like Barnahus, supported by UNICEF, are reshaping support for child survivors of violence in Ukraine. Recently in Montenegro, 26 countries discussed Barnahus implementation, with Мін'юст України representing Ukraine.

Excited about setting the foundation for long-term partnerships for 🇺🇦 child & youth-centered recovery! 🌍 Consultation with the Kabmin of Ukraine on the new Country Programme w/ UNICEF Ukraine ✅; Partners meeting on Better Care Reform; 🤝 Memorandum signed with the Ukrainian Youth Fund.

UNICEF presented its priorities for 2025-2029 to the Ukrainian government. The next country programme will focus on child-centred recovery to support long-term development, while continuing to provide humanitarian response to those most in need.

UNICEF signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Ukrainian Youth Foundation. Our partnership will support young people in Ukraine, starting with a programme that aims to create new youth employment opportunities.

I had the honour to represent UNICEF at the 4th Humanitarian Senior Officials Meeting on #Ukraine , where I spoke about the need to continue working on a child-centred recovery.
