Good Morning, CHAFEE continues to steam West. After a hard day at sea, we will take a little time off for Jazz, Cigar and Sunset.

Another day starts in CHAFEE. Highlights are damage control maintenance and 'Slider' day.

Completed a good day of small arms and engineering training. The crew is hard at work. Seas are calm today. Another great day at sea.

CHAFEE crew did a great job in getting underway for the tsunami sortie. We received several BZ;'well done' from senior officers.

Back in port, the world's greatest homeport, historic Pearl Harbor. The crew is cleaning the ship to great ready for liberty call!

What do we do before we head back into port? A nice freshwater washdown. Salt is hard on the ship and we need to get it off!

Our helicopter qualification week is complete. The Air Dept performed superbly. Another great underway period. Time to head back home!
