Deciding not to report the assault does NOT invalidate it.

What we need to do as a society is to encourage women to speak out, we need to support them, and they need to know that we believe them.

Minors are incapable of providing consent.

Regardless of the situation, individuals below the age of 18 are unable to give consent for sexual activities.

When a survivor talks about their sexual abuse experience, it helps in the healing process and encourages other survivors to speak out.
