All 22 countries in WHO Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean Region have now introduced the hepatitis B vaccine. They’ve also introduced the Hib vaccine, which protects against the bacterium that causes meningitis It’s HumanlyPossible to protect everyone from life-threatening infections #WorldImmunizatonWeek

As part of WHO continuing work to strengthen the health care system in prisons, and with the support of Norway in Lebanon and close collaboration with the Ministry of Interior &Municipalities, the last batch of med equipment was delivered on 23 April to several prisons in Lebanon
