Roe deer make their home here and normally give birth to their fawns in May.
With vulnerable newborn and juvenile deer moving within the arboretum and the UK countryside during spring, it is important we keep our distance to allow them to protect their young.

This week we wave a fond farewell to the Belted Galloway cattle who we have loved seeing here for the past few months. 🐮
Following their expert grazing we look forward to seeing more wildflowers this spring & summer and to welcoming the cattle again soon.
