This is why we unironically need a White People History Month. The difference between what I learned in school versus the reality of the history of colonization is so huge. It's as preposterous as North Koreans being told that winter turned to spring when Kim Jong-Il was born.

The 16th Street Baptist Church bombing occurred on September 15, 1963, in Birmingham, Alabama. Four members of the Ku Klux Klan planted a bomb underneath the steps of the church, which detonated during Sunday school, killing four young African American girls and injuring many
