Despite the adjacent building work going on at Silverlake a pair of Little Ringed Plovers are nesting. They showed well, yesterday morning, on the nearby lake shore.

I spent a wonderful couple of hours yesterday evening with the badgers and really enjoyed using the Nikon Z8 and 800mm lens combo.

Little Ringed Plover at Abberton.

Finally from Rye Harbour today, some of the Common Terns, displaying & pairing up, nice to see lots of Terns at a minimal distance and on islands from a hide, plus decent numbers of Sandwich Tern & I saw at least 8 Little Tern today.

I recently had a spidering trip to Dorset and haven't managed to sort through all of my photos yet, but just wanted to share this beauty, Dolomedes fimbriatus, a Raft Spider. Incredible species.

I saw this yellow-headed caracara twice. The 1st when it flew to an outside table off the main gravel road of Drake's Bay and the 2nd when it visited a tree where a pair of Macaws were hanging out. Both times, Momma was nearby (2nd pic). belinda-greb.pixels.com/collections/co… #birdphotography
