Today, we officially kicked off pool season by reopening the Patterson Park Pool.

Today, I jumped into the Patterson Park pool with Brandon M. Scott

I’m grateful to Mayor Scott and the Rec + Park team for getting all 6 park pools open on time! We won’t always agree, but I’m proud of how we worked together with community to make it happen this year ❤️

Families can bring bags and wear clothes to the pool and store the clothes in lockers that are on site.

We have apologized to the resident for her experience and will clarify rules with staff.

Let's give the young people working at our pools some grace on opening day.

You ran a great campaign focused on improving the lives and livelihood of working people. I can’t wait to get to serve with you my friend!
