I’m at the graduation ceremony for Georgetown’s masters programs, and I cannot imagine a more efficient vehicle for right-wing radicalization. Dozens of fake degrees that cost 60-80k a year—e.g. an MA in “educational transformation—subsidized by foreign students and US taxpayers.

Congress is considering a bill—with bipartisan support—that would not just legalize but mandate racial quotas in employment and college admissions.

It would do so by defining disparate impact as a kind of algorithmic 'harm.'

NEW: Harvard University grad students who accosted an Israeli classmate last October have each been charged with 2 misdemeanors.

However, the school won’t say if they will be awarded degrees, considering ongoing legal proceedings.

More plagiarism. I now look forward to all the dismissals & deflections along the lines of 'its not really plagiarism' and 'it may be technically plagiarism, but who cares?' and, of course, 'its a racist witch hunt.'

There's no hard proof that DEI is more prone to plagiarism than other fields. On the other hand, the fact that it's so rampant among DEI officers at /elite/ universities—which are theoretically hiring the most qualified DEI professionals—does suggest a field-wide problem.
