A moral approach calls us always to never compromise our values. That’s how you keep going. You wake up in the morning, plant your feet, and say, ‘Even if I fall, I’m falling forward; I’m not falling backward.'

On the podcast, I've talked around this experience, and how it changed the way I see pregnancy and reproductive choice. But I've tried not to say too much, because it was @annielowrey's story to tell.

Now she's told it, at least some of it. theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/…

Let’s be 100% clear. If Republicans win control of the House, Senate and White House two years from now, they will pass a national abortion ban. And no matter where you live, no matter how pro-choice your state is, women and doctors will be locked up for practicing health care.

2. Vaccines work against the variants
3. Vaccinated people are unlikely to spread COVID

Thrilled to be appointed faculty in Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health's Immunology & Infectious Diseases Dept. The last year has been a 'whirlwind', but through it all... I tapped into my purpose at the intersection of science *and* public health. And, at Harvard... I will 'take it up a knotch'.

It's almost like if you saddle a generation with massive debt, then hit them with the 2nd economic crisis of their working lives, while simultaneously showing how little your society cares about children or care-giving, they will make choices accordingly nytimes.com/2021/05/05/us/…

A lot of people on here looking at potential vax production numbers and equating it to vaccinations. One reason we need the American Rescue Plan is to fully fund to roll out of these vaccines -- sites, vaccinators, etc; none of it is automatic.
