The FBU is aware that pro-Palestine protesters are holding further demonstrations in Leicester.

Previously, firefighters have been asked to assist the police in removing protestors.

The FBU advises all members not to be involved in law enforcement activities.

So important. If you hear anti-migrant rhetoric, challenge it. Ask for evidence of racist claims. Provide counter-examples. Point out that our history is built on migration. Point out that our communities are connected and made stronger by migration.

It can be more difficult to know what exactly is going on when people go in to sign and don’t come out, but demonstrations and protests at home office locations add to the pressure to stop these detentions. If you hear of a demo at your local home office, go down and join it!!

It's legal to claim asylum. People who have asked for help must not be treated this way.

This is an attack on everyone's rights. When universal human rights, like the right to seek safety, are undermined for anyone they're undermined for everyone.
