I never feel more Jewish than when I hear people implying or explicitly spouting nonsense about what 'all Jews' think about X, Y, or Z. A very sharp objection rises up in me, and it's in the shape of that sharpness that I locate my own Jewishness. This is probably common. 🤷‍♂️
