Día de Muertos(the Day of the Dead) is one of the most fascinating celebrations around the world. It might remind you of Halloween, but it’s in fact a totally different tradition.

Kashmir is home to many fascinating communities. Parveena and her daughter, Rubeena, are part of an ethnic group called Gujjar.

I noticed Nikka, who is of Croatian origin, on the streets of Copenhagen, Denmark a few years ago. She was delighted to be photographed and relaxed while talking about her birthmark. Nikka is one of the many women of the world that taught me how important is to be yourself.
