Politics has always been in my blood - I believe in the possibility of change for the better - my parents left school at 14 - here I am - there is another way - I believe people in our country support decency- compassion- humanity - not greed - surely now is time for a change?

Their dedication, expertise and compassion have undoubtedly contributed to his journey so far. 

His family have gone through an awful ordeal and my heart goes out to his wife Kati and their young daughter.

Agreed Jonny Uttley 🇺🇦 she makes clear that the reality behind poor attendance either disaffection or disengagement from school and that the reasons are complex and multifaceted. Dragging pupils into school in such circumstances rarely fixes let alone addresses such issues.
