Since 2004, the Stockholm Convention has played a pivotal role in addressing and eliminating the use of POPs worldwide. We acknowledge the progress made through international cooperation and efforts.

Global Recycling Day raises awareness of the depletion of the earth's natural resources and promotes recycling to combat this issue. The BCRC-Caribbean recognizes the importance of recycling and incorporates this in many of our projects such as the PTTC and the HELLO Campaign♻️🌎

On February 7th 2024, the BCRC-Caribbean hosted the National Inception Workshop for GEF ISLANDS 10472 & the Kick-off for the PTTC in Havana, Cuba. The project activities, workplan and stakeholder engagement plan were presented, followed by discussions on the proposed plans 🇨🇺

On 31 January, we hosted the National Inception Workshop for Activity 5 of the project ‘Demonstration of the ESM of Used Mobile Phones and Computing Equipment in T&T’, where our consultants Ms. Camille Roopnarine & Mr. Stephen Bates presented their workplans to key stakeholders.

On Tuesday 30th January, BCRC-Caribbean members presented on the project 'Demonstration of the ESM of Used Mobile Phones and Computing Equipment in T&T' at CANTO Connect and 40th Annual General Meeting.

On Jan 16-2024 the BCRC-Caribbean hosted a regional consultation in collaboration with Mrs. Lael Bertide-Josiah of ANU (GRULAC rep.& co-chair on ENFORCE), to inform the discussions at the upcoming meeting in February. Thanks to all who attended and contributed to the discussions!
