Year 5 produced some amazing space pictures. They used watercolours to create planets and had to consider the composition of their final picture, showing an understanding of foreground, middle ground and background. Well done year 5! 🪐

Year 5 are on the bus and on their way back to school after a fantastic day in Cambridge.

Year 5 are spending the day at the zoology museum and the Scott polar museum. Lots of fascinating things to see.

Tiger made a life-size sarcophagus as his homework project! We were blown away by the size and all the intricately hand-drawn hieroglyphs!

Hard at work making prickles out of sweet chestnut for a hedgehog! Steve (the hedgehog) should prove a great habitat for the insects in our garden.

Year 4 have been designing pharaoh headdresses that demonstrate wealth and power. Super work!

Our fabulous year 6 swimming team won the gala this afternoon at SVC.

Good morning again from Claythorpe Court. Another beautiful morning here. Our wonderful Year 6s are just packing their suitcases before breakfast, all excited for the activities planned for our last morning. This photo shows the trapeze, which many children have conquered!

What a way for our Year 6s to end their second day at PGL - songs, stories and toasting marshmallows around a beautiful campfire. Many of our children have decided they don’t want to come home as they are having too much fun ❤️

More PGL fun for our year 6's: the children have been climbing the trapeze, problem solving, zip wiring, canoeing etc. Eating burgers for lunch and generally having a fabulous time. Campfire tonight!

Good morning from Claythorpe Court. The skies are blue, the birds are tweeting and our Year 6s have had their wake up call! We are so proud of how all our children slept - recharged and ready for the adventures ahead!

Year 6 residential day 1: everyone is having a lovely time so far with canoeing, climbing, problem solving, zip wire and a game of giant cluedo. They should sleep well tonight!
