'Luton had more of a go at the Etihad than Real Madrid'. They did and some will praise them for being brave/adventurous but they shipped 5 and might go down, while Real disappeared inside themselves and may win a 15th European Cup/Champions League.

Media will do what they have to do to paint narratives, but if you were impressed by Real, apart from their stubbornness, I'd question why. The club that 'owns' the Champions League reduced to turtle shell defending, using 38 year old Modric for respite and hanging on for life.

Not sure what more City could have done in that 2nd half except take one of many chances. Real pinned back for entire half, unable to get free. City relentless and unlucky. Shots stats are similar to many games this season. Foden, Bernardo, De Bruyne, Haaland all big chances.

Terrific effort to pin Real back for entirety of that second half. Some tired legs out there, but praise due for 45 minutes that gave Real no options at all but to defend with all they had. Akanji superb, but too many big chances, Bernardo, De Bruyne, Foden, Haaland went begging.
