I was being pestered by a man at the bus stop. I laughed nervously and said my (nonexistent) husband wouldn’t like it. He then proceeded to quiz me on every aspect of my ‘wedding day’ - I suspect many other women had tried this ruse on him. Why didn’t I just tell him to fuck off?
