Bears Softball split with the Coastal North Coyotes this afternoon in Monroeville. The Bears win game one 3-0 and the Coyotes win game two 3-0.

The Bears will conclude the regular season this Saturday at Bossier in a doubleheader starting at 1 pm.

With her stolen base today, in the Bears game one victory over the Coastal Alabama North Coyotes, Hannah Abshire is now the New BRCC Career Stolen Base leader with 26 stolen bases in her Bears Softball Career. Hannah breaks the record that was held by Morgan Alleman with 25.

With the Bears Game One Victory today over the Coastal Alabama North Coyotes, the Bears Softball team has set a new program record for wins in a season with 24. The previous record was 23 wins in the 2013 season.

Two Bears softball players signed their National Letter of Intent to continue their academic and athletic careers at four year programs.

Laine Sullivan will be attending Centenary College of Louisiana.

Molly Sistrunk will be attending Louisiana State University in Alexandria.

The Bears Softball team were swept by the #11 LSUE Lady Bengals this afternoon at Hartley Vey Sports Complex. The Lady Bengals defeated the Bears 5-4 in 8 innings and 8-3.

The Bears will travel to Coastal Alabama North on Tuesday April 23.

With today’s 5-1 first game victory over the Coastal Alabama North Coyotes, Freshman Pitcher Maddie Robinson from Natchitoches , LA sets a new BRCC Single Season Win Record with 10 wins. The record was previously held by Haley Grantham (2013) and Marley Olivier (2023).
