In their article about the poll, they mention Biden's age and the idea he's old but not Trump's age or the idea that he's exhibiting confusion, incoherence, and some criminal trials.

It is campaigning for Trump. So is Fox News but everyone understands what Fox is. Including Fox. I wonder if the Times even understands its own agenda with the persistent hard-on-Biden/soft-on-Trump takes that echo their coverage in 2016.

The New York Times isn't reporting the news. It's shaping it, with consistently negative framing about Biden in the context of the election. Today's front page:
