The Canucks getting outplayed and barely eeking out a win against the Oilers without McDavid must be really embarassing for them.

There was no need to win the division, I think 2nd in the division gets the better match up anyway. Now that that's out of the way, get rest, get healthy and LFG

Golden Knights are underdogs vs Dallas and that’s fine. Both teams are deep and they play fantastic hockey.

Adding Tanev and Stankoven+ Harley popping make Dallas a legitimate threat and I lean towards them if it goes 7.

If VGK survive round 1 they probably repeat.

Philip Broberg is expected to be recalled and will be in the lineup for Monday's game vs San Jose, per Mark Spector. Broberg has 12 points (3G, 9A) in his last 8 games and has 34 points in 48 games this season.

Three Quick Thoughts

1. DeSmith was excellent, was like having Demko in there for a game.
