The decision of Ellen Weaver’s Fake Thoughts to cut ties w/ SCASL is deeply troubling. The office of the superintendent should not be used for partisan gain. The mission of the S.C. Department of Education should be the well being of ALL children, not just those that align with Weaver’s political agenda.

An all male state Supreme Court (the only one in the nation, a state senate where 41/46 members are men, and a male governor. Let that sit for a minute. SC women, let’s ride.

Women know what’s in their best interests. They don’t need to be told by their government.

It’s unnecessary to debate whether enslaved people benefitted from slavery.

Let us not be distracted by what extremists are trying to do, which is to create unnecessary debates to divide our country.

Let us stand together for what we know is right.
