I always immediately delete emails from predator journals (if they don’t go directly to spam) but was curious anyway to see the “Open Access Journal of Mycology & Mycological Sciences”, and this is what they publish. WTF.

Im first/corresponding/senior author in about 70% of my scientific publications, but in the remaining 30% I comment as much as I can. In all sections. Currently baffled with co-authors who might have helped on field or lab work but comment NOTHING, or almost nothing.

I think this is the way to go! Imagine if every funding agency mandated to preprint everything and not longer pay for APCs for #OpenAccess …

Was lucky to spent time with her first in Leipzig in 2018 and then in Ispra in 2019. And online over the years. A true inspiration!

Oh no… this is such a devastating loss for everyone in soil ecology! I was lucky enough to collaborate with Diana & co-author papers with her. I’m truly sad with this loss! She was a pioneer in every meaning of the word. Just recently she invited us to a GSBI webinar. Devastated
