The Primates Meeting has taken place in many parts of the world over the last 50 years, but this is our first time in Rome – and we've found ourselves embraced in the warmest welcome. At this historic meeting, we are listening to God and to one another.

Yesterday's visits to Tre Fontane and St Paul Outside-the-Walls were deeply profound and significant: not only in that they are where St Paul the Apostle was martyred and laid to rest, but that the Primates all journeyed there together, in deep prayer and contemplation.
