Interesting thing Fowler says here is people around the league tell him if Beckham embraces being an inside receiver, he could make a killing in this offense. A McVay-like approach where the same 3 WRs are on field together all the time would be a change-up for McDaniel.

Matthew Jones in the one (full) game he played Center for Ohio State was really something, man. Was a fairly high Center recruit out of Brooklyn. Not surprised he ended up playing over 2300 snaps in his career at OSU, but am surprised they didn’t play him at Center much.

Most of this remains true. Miami secured Odell Beckham to improve 3rd downs and back up at all 3 positions. Instead of drafting a WR that does similar things as Hill & Waddle, they targeted a complement in Malik Washington, who btw converted near 60% of his 3rd/4th down targets.

Tyler Boyd would be smart to sign now. With the big influx in young WR talent via the draft some names could be on the chopping block next month for teams who need to get under the cap.

Gotta be honest I'm a little staggered by the implied contract structure. When I said I doubt anything gets done until June it's because I knew Miami only had like $3.7 mil of available cap until then, after making a few more moves right before the draft.
