Some thoughts on my trip to🇳🇬🇪🇹🇰🇪 over the past week.

In Lagos, I felt the vibrant pulse of this city. I visited a local clinic where diesel generators were swapped for solar generators. Impressed to see how such innovative solutions are making a real difference for people.

The future belongs to #renewables : the global #energytransition is underway – a record 30% of the world's electricity came from RE last year. Ember predicts fossil generation will decline slightly in 2024, marking 2023 as the likely peak of power sector emissions.

We can only fight the climate crisis together. It is a glaring injustice that those countries that have contributed the least to the #ClimateCrisis have been hit the hardest. It’s about us to deliver. Fiji Government
