Some AANHPI women experience giant wage gaps that aren’t visible when we only look at averages. Burmese, Pakistani, and Nepalese women make less than 50% of what white, non-Hispanic men make. #AANHPIEqualPay
For every $1 earned by white, non-Hispanic men, AANHPI women earn 75 cents. Money lost to the wage gap means having less to support our families and use as a cushion for job loss and hard times. #AANHPIEqualPay
