That's another way of saying the only way any of this works is with collective bargaining and an employee-employer relationship.

I have a hard time imagining CAA -- a marketing agent for some of these NIL deals -- allowing their clients (college players) to sign any deal that compelled them to play bowl games.

PRO athletes don't sign contracts compelling them to play in the postseason. Their player associations wouldn't let them. That's why there are no 'specific performance' clauses in those deals. I suppose individual collectives could do deals but this only works if everyone does

Why I love the The Stanley Cup playoffs: The team that led the league in goals allowed (@NHLJets) has given up 19 in less than 12 periods through four games against x - Colorado Avalanche. About to go down 3-1 and be eliminated soon.

I remember somebody tipping me -- and I wrote it -- that inside the building Michigan Football believed it had 15 draft choices. Not too far off at 13 to lead the field. In a way, Harbs revolutionized the game by channeling Bo in an age of offensive explosion/innovation to win it

Here’s a question to anybody involved with a team in any sport — from the Cardinals to college, from high school to a weekend adult league:
Does your team have a culture and environment in which a gay athlete would feel comfortable coming out of the closet?
If not, why not?

Question for NFL/draft experts: Are we going to reach a saturation point with wide receivers where their value drops because the supply is just way higher than the demand?
Are there going to be too many good receivers? I think we saw a little of that this year after the Big 3.
