The FBU advises all members not to be involved in law enforcement activities.

There was an airstrike very close to an Medical Aid for Palestinians convoy of aid workers & doctors at lunchtime.
Very concerned that bombardments seem to be scaling up in east Rafah tonight - including for all in Al Najjar Hospital.

I was diagnosed at age 37 with a cancer that has an average age at diagnosis of 71 😞. Firefighting is dangerous enough without this additional risk. SFRS making progress but need more funding and firefighters need cancer to be recognised as an industrial injury.

Today we see politicians remembering fallen firefighters, I’d rather have them fund fire services adequately to reduce these terrifying stats!
