One weird thing about effort to pay 'hush money' re Stormy Daniels is the story was already leaked in 2011, in some places never retracted (e.g., WWTDD), but the 2016 effort is a sense that Streisand effect had not yet hit, so it could still be quashed? wwtdd.com/2011/10/donald…

Do any other states have a mechanism like Vermont that allows the legislature to select the governor in some situations (in Vermont, where no candidate receives a majority of the popular vote)?
