We just can’t, as a sector, rely on back channels for ensuring equity. We need to embed inclusivity at every level of our practice. Every decision we make, we need to consider who we are excluding.

It's not a coincidence that we have academic colleagues telling us a flat out 'no' when we state reasonable adjustments. Or that I've been subject to the 'there are too many disabled students at uni' argument so often in recent months. This rhetoric is causing real damage.
