We missed this one over the holidays, so a belated 'blogpost alert'. Thanks to Health Services Research UK for hosting this piece by Andy Northcott and katie featherstone, and for recognising their research at the 2022 conference

'The accountability for providing high quality care lies with the profession but the necessary conditions are set politically'
So true.
Really interesting ideas for the political level to consider to facilitate healthcare improvement #Quality2022
Much of this work can happen at the frontline but demonstrating the 'seriousness' of this work using an academic approach to develop a framework engages politicians. Then combined with PDSA approach to testing and tweaking. Love to see HSR and QI combined! #Quality2022
'Integrated care is not a new organisation, it's a way of thinking with primary health care at the centre'
Empty circle represents the personalised aspect for what that patient needs - for me it would be yoga 🧘♀️

The 'Best place to live' approach in jonkoping aligns all social determinants of health including education, leisure, environment and beyond. This hopeful, inspiring approach seems absent in England - perhaps we need not just joy in work but hope? #Quality2022 James Mountford 🇺🇦
Care produced together with patients in region jonkoping starts with the patient identifying what they can do for themselves with their resources and networks and then seeing how the healthcare system can support them. Love this strengths-based approach #Quality2022
So much learning from region jonkoping about focusing health on supporting people's joy in their everyday life tasks. I particularly love their shared goal picture which leads to alignment in the system and helps focus cocreation Quality Forum #Quality2022
