Weekend Noise Alert! Please be advised, the South Carolina National Guard will be conducting training on Fort Jackson this weekend. Expect to hear loud noises through Sunday, April 28th.

E3B testing concluded today with the 12-mile ruck march. Candidates who successfully completed the ruck in the required time, had to then disassemble, reassemble, and function check their weapon to successfully pass this final requirement to earn their respective expert badge.

The Fort Jackson Fire Department, Forestry and Wildlife branches are conducting a burn-out operation to contain a wildfire ignited by artillery in the East Impact Area on post. We anticipate the operation to conclude by midafternoon.

E3B candidates completed the final skills lane today proving their mastery of equipment and techniques required on patrol. Testing concludes tomorrow morning with a ruck march. Those successfully completing all requirements will receive their badge in a ceremony later in the day.

Candidate's ability to render lifesaving aid was tested during day 3 of E3B. While the Expert Infantry and Expert Soldier Badge candidates were tested on combat lifesaving skills, the Expert Field Medical Badge candidate conducted a rigorous Tactical Combat Casualty Care lane.

Expert Infantry, Soldier, and Field Medic badge(E3B) testing started today at Fort Jackson. Candidates took the physical fitness test before hitting the land navigation course this afternoon. Testing continues all week as Soldiers strive to earn the coveted badges.
