Last week, Caroline Fairly for Texas and I toured Eastridge Elementary School, a part of AISD. During the visit, I had the opportunity to meet with Superintendent Doug Loomis and Principal Genie Baca to discuss the school's needs, successes, and challenges.

Austin ISD just sent out an email that high schoolers are staging a “walkout for peace” this afternoon.
